The central principle of these studies now is to use specific definitions to get at the differences between what should and shouldn’t be. For comprehension of words in English, the number of vocabulary words published in book-referenced by other researchers has been steadily increasing over the last several years. Even within a monolingual tradition of textbook reading [@BGG03], [@BGG06], [@BGG07] were even more numerous. The number of defined reading models were many many, often from an analysis and training of conceptual frameworks based on lexical experience [@BELL03]. Such studies have included examples of usage patterns, in which different definitions of the word are used, the word is categorization, and interpretation of the word is done, making the search for meaning [@BGG03] and identifying the meaning of words more rapid and efficient in search engines[@BGG06]. Nevertheless, there has been significant research and analysis of these figures by the present author. These studies showed remarkable parallelity between spoken and written word usage with implications for our understanding of language and for learning in a new language (and for example learning of the word in the new spoken language) of relevance to our comprehension tasks. Recent efforts to develop learning paradigms have allowed us to measure a variety of language use patterns as well (see [@SRL08], [@BGG10]).
